Beth Jones and her husband, Jeff, are the founders and Senior Pastors of Valley Family Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan, named by Outreach magazine as one of the fastest growing churches in America in 2009 and 2010. Beth and Jeff, have four children. They make their home in the Kalamazoo area.

Beth grew up in Lansing, Michigan and was raised as a Catholic and at age 19 at the end of her freshman year in college, she came into a personal relationship with Christ through the testimony of her roommate. it was there, at age 19 she realized God's plan for her to preach and teach the gospel through writing and speaking. For the past 25 years, she has been following that call.

Beth is the author of 20 books; including the popular "Getting a Grip on the Basics" series, which is being used by thousands of churches in America; has been translated into over a dozen foreign languages and is being used around the world. She also writes the free, daily Jump Start Devo for over 5000 subscribers.

The heart of Beth's message is a passion to help people get the basics of God's Word and inspiring them to believe and live out the faith-filled adventure we know as following Jesus. 

Beth's mission is simple: "I want people to be found guilty of having God's fingerprints all over their lives! If I can help people get a grip on the basics of God's Word in such a way that it becomes more than the greatest sounding, religious theory they've ever heard, God's fingerprints will show up all over their lives--and I'll know I've done my job."

Beth attended Boston University in Boston, MA and received her ministry training at Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK
