BEING CREATIVE
Sharing the gospel through creativity & innovation.
Sharing the gospel in innovative ways - whether through songs, musicals, or special productions has always been and continues to be a part of Jeff and Beth's approach to sharing the gospel and teaching the Word.
LIFE IS SHORT.
The gospel is heartfelt & fun.
WHAT IF JESUS WAS BORN IN THE 60'S?
Retro: A Christmas Musical
Written in 2003 after Beth saw The Menopause Musical she was inspired to tell the Christmas story through parodied lyrics. With the help of the Valley Creative Team, a talented cast of 7, live band of 5, the gospel of Luke, 15 parodied-oldies, bell bottom jeans and a little choreography, the Retro Christmas Musical production was an evangelistic hit at Valley Family Church for nearly 10 years!
WRITTEN 1982
The Rosebush
Written during a spiritually dry season, the year after Beth graduated from Boston University, this song became an anthem for her own personal life and many others, as well. Decades later, her son-in-law Zack surprised the church family by setting it to a melody and singing it one Sunday.
WRITTEN 2017
Surrounded
Written in her hotel room late night one night while Beth was attending a conference in Berlin, it is based on a prayer Jeff and Beth prayed regularly over their kids as they grew up. The song was finished the Valley Worship team in 2018.
"I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of ingenious inventions."
